The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this
Commercial Item Description for all federal agencies.
1. SCOPE. This description covers swinging door waste receptacles covers for 55 gallon metal drums.
2. CLASSIFICATION. Waste receptacle covers covered by this CID shall conform to the following type, style, class and finish requirements of this CID.
Type I- Single Swinging Door
Type II- Double Swinging Door
Style A- Raised top cover
Style B- Inclined cover
Style C- Flat cover
Class 1- Vertical Door
Class 2- Horizontal Door
Finish A- Gray
Finish B- Green
Finish C- Olive Green
Finish D- Galvanized/Zinc coated
